A few weeks ago, declaring my participation in the summer-autumn edition of BSBP (official site is here ) I knew that there will be surprise. First - who Lori will assign me to, who will be my partner - which was a challenge because, after all, the number of 362 participants from 21 countries(map here) made me dizzy. The second - what I will get in parcel - and it turned out that beautiful treasures. And third - what I can do with received beads and what conjures up DAVINIA (you have to take a look - I'm terribly curious what she did with the materials I sent her .... I also will visit her blog in a moment!)
Great glass lampwork in sweet powder pink turned into a pair of nice earrings and bracelet, which I wore for a wedding reception we went yesterday. Matt finish beads first fell into my hands. I added only a couple of Swarovski crystals in the vintage pink color and I had the perfect accessory to a little black dress. True, I could not decide whether dull copper or silver will be better (hence the slight confusion in these colors), but maybe you can help me decide? I have a few more ideas for those shiny speckled lampworks and wirelace (thank you Sandra for help in identyfying them ;-) ) - but I will show them in a moment. Thanks Lori for the great job organising everything and gathering!!!
Pierwsze wpadły mi w ręce te z matowym wykończeniem, którym dołożyłam kilka kryształków Swarovskiego w kolorze vintage pink i wieczorowy dodatek do małej czarnej był gotowy.
Very delicate and feminine.

OdpowiedzUsuńCudeńka! Jak zobaczyłam kolczyki to aż sobie westchnęłam :)
OdpowiedzUsuńBrawo Basiu, świetnie sobie poradziłaś, czekam na kolejne prace :)
very pretty!
OdpowiedzUsuńAmazing stuff, very 'girly'! I think the copper works better - it adds a bit of warmth to the pinks. However, the silver really sings doesn't it? Well done :)
OdpowiedzUsuńVery nice creations. I actually think the copper looks better with the pink beads, but that's all personal preference. I just tend to prefer the warm color spectrum over the cool, so I prefer gold, copper and brass over silver, nickel and steel. Can't wait to see what you'll create with the rest of the soup! I'd love to see something created with the ribbon your partner sent you ...
OdpowiedzUsuńAnd just out of curiosity, which country are you from? Clearly it's one of the near eastern countries, but I can't tell which one - Poland? I've got a Polish co-worker, and your texts look a lot like what she sounds like when on phone with her family. XD <3
Beautiful and dreamy! And feminine! so pretty!!!
OdpowiedzUsuńIt's a tribute to your lovely design that you have already worn it and love it! Great job!
OdpowiedzUsuńso romantically feminine! lovely!

OdpowiedzUsuńPerfect for a wedding.
OdpowiedzUsuńI think the antiqued copper goes better with that soft, muted rose, but that's just me :) I love what you did with your soup, very lovely! Are you going to eventually use that beautiful wire lace?
OdpowiedzUsuńWhat stunning earrings and a beautiful bracelet!! How fun to have an occasion to wear them to !! I bet you looked absolutely stunning in your little back dress with these jewels!!!

Just beautiful! I love your choice of silver, I think those beads could work equally well with either silver or copper. so glad you got to wear them to the wedding, that makes it extra special! Your design is perfect!

OdpowiedzUsuńJackie
They are both so lovely. So feminine and dainty. Very nice.
OdpowiedzUsuńso soft and feminine :) Very pretty! I'd have been tempted to go with copper or brass chain but I think the silver looks FAR nicer :) Excellent work!

OdpowiedzUsuńThis is like the cutest bracelet I've ever seen made with my lampwork beads.
I'm more than sure that it popped out at the wedding party.
Thank you so much for being my partner.
Beautiful design and colors. Those speckled pink beads are amazing!
OdpowiedzUsuńYour design really highlighted the delicacy of the beads. Ovely.
OdpowiedzUsuńThey are beautiful beads and you did a magnificent job of working with them. I love both the bracelet and the earrings.
OdpowiedzUsuńOh wow! These are some of my favorite pieces that I have seen on the blog hop...and pink isn't even my favorite color! In fact, I have a hard time designing with pink, so it's really inspiring to see how beautifully these designs came together. And I love the additional pieces you created after the deadline. You were clearly inspired!
OdpowiedzUsuńYou made the perfect items to wear to a wedding. So feminine.
OdpowiedzUsuńInfinitely wearable! Pink isn't my color - but the bracelet is beautiful!
OdpowiedzUsuńI really like what you have created! Beautiful beads and beautiful pieces...
OdpowiedzUsuńElegant, feminine, dainty, sweet... wonderful!
OdpowiedzUsuńSo much pink! I'm not a huge fan of the color, but you've really made it look beautiful. I saw your newest post with the additional designs and that gold one. . .gracious it's stunning!
OdpowiedzUsuńWonderful work!
What a fun bead soup! Both pieces are gorgeous! I really love the earrings-very sweet.
OdpowiedzUsuńWhat gorgeous pieces. Loving the pale pinky peach pallet! You did a really Soup-er job with your soup mix!
OdpowiedzUsuńVery pretty and feminine jewellery! Such sweet colours you got to work with and what a nice result you got to show. My fave is the first necklace in the other post. Sweet and feminine, but at the same time modern and not to "cutesy". Great job!
OdpowiedzUsuńWow such a beautiful work! I love it it's so romatic!
